Arya's application to the 2023 Beckman Scholars Program gets funded! As a Beckman Scholar, Arya will receive a 15 month research stipend along with funds for supplies and conference travel. Arya's paper is accepted in Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry! In this Trends article, we describe how new analytical methods for detecting RNA modifications in the central nervous system and single cells are beginning to unravel the "neuro-epitranscriptome." Congratulations, Arya!

Our first set of animals arrived! Aplysia californica is a marine mollusk and neurobiological model that we use to study RNA modifications in the central nervous system and single neurons. HAPPY SLUG DAY!
